AUTHOR GUIDELINES – LANGUAGE AND EDUCATION JOURNAL (LEJ)

The submitted article must align with the scope and focus of the Language and Education Journal (LEJ).
The article must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere, either in print or online.
Articles must be submitted in Microsoft Word format and follow these formatting requirements:
Paper size: A4 (21 cm x 29.7 cm) with 3 cm margins on all sides.
Title: Maximum of 25 words, written in Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 spacing, and all capital letters.
Maximum article length: 7,000 words (excluding references and indexing).
Abstract: Written in one column, using Times New Roman, font size 11, and single-spaced.
Main text: Written in two columns, using Times New Roman, font size 12, and double-spaced.
Tables, figures, and charts: Use Times New Roman, font size 10 or 11, and single-spaced.
Original research articles should include the following sections:
Title (maximum 25 words)
Author's name, institutional affiliation, and email address
Abstract (100–250 words), labeled with the heading Abstract
Keywords (3–5 keywords)
Introduction (including background and research objectives)
Methodology
Results and Discussion
Conclusion
References
All references must follow the APA 7th edition style and use Mendeley.
Authors are encouraged to cite relevant references, particularly those published in the Language and Education Journal. The primary references should be from the last ten years. However, for theoretical foundations, older sources may be used if no recent ones are available.
All submissions must be made electronically through the Online Journal System (OJS) of the Language and Education Journal.
The Editor-in-Chief and the editorial team will review each submitted manuscript for initial screening. Eligible manuscripts will then be sent to two appointed reviewers for a double-blind peer review to determine whether they are accepted or rejected.
Authors whose articles are accepted for publication will receive an official notification via email.
